Special Kinda Madness supporting Teenage Cancer Trust

Special Kinda Madness and their sister band The Iconics are supporting the Specialized Project which is a charity music project raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

We are collecting at all our gigs in 2013 and have already raised over £400 in the first few gigs. Please look out for the red TCT bucket and contribute whatever you can afford. It is a fantastic charity and all the money goes to a very worthy cause.

We are also contributing (as The Iconics) a WI-style photo with a certain amount of ‘tasteful nudity’ for the Specialized Calendar! You know, Calendar Girls but pork pie hats instead of buns! We are ‘February’ and we are following the love theme by re-enacting the traditional Romeo and Juliet scene but with a ska music twist! We will let you know when the calendar goes on sale.

Finally, The Iconics are playing at the Specialized – The Big One 2 ska weekender down in Dorset on November 8th – 10th. There will be loads of bands playing over those 3 days, including The Beat and Lee Thompson’s Ska Orchestra.

Please help us to help Specialized and Teenage Cancer Trust by giving generously at our gigs.
